2025 NNA Annual Community Meeting
March 23, 2025 - Boulder, CO
The 2025 NNA Annual Community Meeting was held in-person in Boulder, Colorado on March 23, 2025 in conjunction with Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW) 2025. This year's meeting hosts were the NNA Community Office and University of Colorado Boulder. The meeting brought together 170 NNA researchers, research partners, Indigenous community and organization representatives, decision-makers, and others who have an interest in the NNA initiative.
This year's meeting agenda was focused into one day, recognizing the many events that also happened during an already busy week at ASSW 2025. The agenda offered a plenary panel and focused on creating opportunities for exchange and interaction through community-led discussion groups. Additionally, the NNA Community Office supported the ASSW Indigenous Pavilion, film screenings, and other events throughout ASSW and the ICARP IV Summit.

Each day of the meeting revolved around a distinct theme: strengthening equity in research (Day 1), identifying elements for convergence research (Day 2), or building a foundation for action (Day 3). Daily agendas included plenary presentations, discussion panels, and collaboratively developed training opportunities.
This meeting was held virtually using the conference app Whova. Future meetings will be a mix of in-person or virtual.
